User Profile

Design a mobile user profile feature that lets users manage personal details, roles/permissions, and preferences, with tailored views for different user types.

User Needs

Prototyping

An interactive prototype was developed using Axure RP, demonstrating the following key features:

• User Details: Display profile picture, name, and contact info.
• Roles and Permissions: Show current roles with simple descriptions and icons.
• User Preferences: Options to customize language, date, time, and number formats.
• Dynamic Landing Views: Display landing screen views based on user role (e.g. Admin).

Usability Testing Feedback

• Users liked the layout but wanted clearer icons for roles.
• Editing was easy, but they desired better save confirmation.
• Landing views were effective but could offer more personalization for regular users.

The mobile user profile feature effectively met user needs by providing an intuitive interface that tailors experiences for different user types.
